"Renewable Roots" is a pioneering initiative by Vedanshi Energy Association that puts the power of renewable energy directly into the hands of the communities. We believe that the best way to ensure a sustainable future is by empowering local communities to own, manage, and benefit from their own energy resources. Our initiative focuses on setting up community-based renewable energy systems like microgrids and community solar gardens, transforming local energy access and fostering environmental stewardship.

Key Initiatives under "Renewable Roots" Initiative

1. Community Solar Gardens

• Objective: To facilitate the creation of shared solar power systems where community members can buy or lease solar panels.

• Activities: We provide the technical expertise, setup support, and maintenance training needed to establish and manage community solar projects.

• Outcome: Residents enjoy reduced electricity bills and take pride in contributing to a greener planet.

2. Microgrid Implementation

• Objective: To develop autonomous grid systems capable of operating independently from the national grid during outages or emergencies.

• Activities: Design and install microgrid systems using a combination of solar, wind, and battery storage solutions, tailored to the specific needs and resources of the community.

• Outcome: Enhanced energy security and resilience, enabling communities to maintain power during disruptions and reduce overall energy costs.

3. Training and Capacity Building

• Objective: To educate and train community members in the management, maintenance, and expansion of renewable energy systems.
